The fields are open to make snowmen (and snowwomen), but not to play soccer.

ALL SOCCER ACTIVITY IS CANCELLED FOR OCTOBER 30.

All intramural games and clinic sessions for soccer are cancelled for 10/29/2011 as of 10:00am due to the weather.

If you need the referee schedules you can now download it from the Referee Schedule page.

Here are a couple of reminders on the soccer schedule:

Clinic Schedules (Nursery through 1st grade)

• There is no soccer clinic at JLC this Saturday due to the Harvest Fair (this only affects the boys).
• There is no soccer for all players (clinic and intramurals) on Columbus Day weekend (10/8 and 10/9).
• The last weekend for girls clinic is 11/5/11
• The last weekend for boys clinic is 11/12/11 (to compensate for the lost weekend due to the Harvest Fair).

Intramural Schedules (2nd grade and older)

• Games are FPBS will be played as scheduled this coming weekend (9/24 and 9/25)
• There is no soccer for all players (clinic and intramurals) on Columbus Day weekend (10/8 and 10/9).

Nursery through First Grade will begin playing September 10th and 11th at JLC.  Second grade and up will be posted ASAP.

Boys on Saturday

• Nursery @ 9am
• Pre-K @ 10am
• Kindergarten @11am
• 1^st grade @ 12pm

Girls on Sunday

• Nursery @ 12pm
• Pre-K @ 1pm
• Kindergarten @ 2pm
• 1^st grade @ 3pm

NOTE: Please make sure all children bring the following:

• Soccer cleats
• Shin guards
• Bottle of water for water breaks

An important announcement for Intramural soccer players 7^th grade and up.

Floral Park Indians Intramural soccer may be forced to cancel intramurals for 7th grade and older if more children don’t register. We have enough players for the younger grades, but registrations for the 7th grade and up are too low to organize appropriate divisions.

If you have delayed signing up, you must due so immediately.  A registration form can now be downloaded from our web site.  Print it out and drop it off at 5 Daisy Avenue in Floral Park or come to our final registration on Tuesday, August 16th 7:30 PM-8:30 PM at the Rec Center. We will have to make a decision about cancelling the season for the older teams the next morning. This registration is open to all age groups. While we have enough players to make divisions up to 6th grade, we could certainly use more players.

IF WE DECIDE TO CANCEL THE SEASON, PLAYERS IN THAT DIVISION WILL GET A FULL REFUND.

Again, this does NOT impact grades Nursery through 6th, nor does it affect any travel team.

We are having one additional tryout for the Boys Under-9 soccer team.  It will be held on August 17th at 6:30pm at the Floral Park Bellerose School fields.
